Presentation Strategy:  Our approach to The Spruce was to create a modern chalet experience rooted in its Adirondack setting—less Swiss lodge, more Scandinavian retreat. Light woods, a quiet neutral palette and simple forms create interiors that feel warm, natural and deliberately understated.

Texture provides the character: wood paneling, woven textiles and tactile bedding are balanced by crisp black accents and contemporary lighting. In the bathrooms, terrazzo flooring is layered with wood and ceramic tile, continuing the dialogue between natural materials and clean modern lines.

The result is light, warm and quietly rustic—a contemporary mountain retreat that feels connected to its surroundings without relying on traditional lodge vernacular.
